On the behalf of the Beta Mu chapter of Alpha Phi, I am more than honored to welcome you to our official website! My name is Casey Nelson and I am currently serving as the Chapter President of Alpha Phi at the University of Alabama.

I am extremely honored and blessed to lead this outstanding group of women whom without, I wouldn’t know where or who I would be. When I received my bid in 2014, I found what I didn’t know I was missing. I found my best friends, my greatest motivators, my inspiration, and my home away from home. Alpha Phi has pushed me to believe and set goals for myself that I know I can accomplish through the confidence and support that they give me. My sisters are what motivate me to succeed and strive for greatness every single day and I am in constant awe of their beauty inside and out.

College is an exciting opportunity for you to explore and create your own future. Joining Alpha Phi truly changed my college experience and my life for the better. I will forever be thankful for the opportunities and experiences that Alpha Phi has provided me and I wish everyone the same experience that I have had so far.

The sisterhood of Alpha Phi stretches from coast to coast through over 166 collegiate campuses with more than 200,000 members. At Alpha Phi, we share a commitment to excellence and a strong desire to help one another and our communities.  At the University of Alabama, the Beta Mu chapter enhances and promotes each member’s development and learning by focusing on sisterhood, service, leadership, loyalty, and character development.

Alpha Phis are leaders, scholars, contributors, and lifetime members of a sisterhood that values these traits.  We have members that are apart of some of the most prestigious programs on campus. On top of our overall academic achievement and involvement on our campus and in our community, we hold a special place in our hearts for our philanthropy, which is the Alpha Phi Foundation. Learn more about our philanthropy as you explore our site!
