A LETTER FROM OUR NEW MEMBER TEAM
Dear Potential New Member,
As you are about to start a new chapter in your life, we, as Alpha Phi’s New Member Educator and Assistant New Member Educator are put in place to educate every one of our new members on what it means to be an Alpha Phi. Surrounding our four high ideals, sisterhood, innovation, generosity, and character, being a Beta Mu sister goes beyond what is seen on social media. To be a Beta Mu sister is holding each other accountable, to help each sister be the best possible person they can be. It means to be there for each other in times of doubt, times of worry, and in times of fear. Being a sister also means going to the Alpha Phi house together for sisterhood events, calling on a sister in times of need, eating dinner with your big or life-long friends before chapter, or even just hanging out!
Our number one goal here at Alpha Phi is to make every one of you feel comfortable walking in the house through recruitment and every day afterward. We know the hardship that comes from recruitment, but with chapter members from all over the nation, we know that you will be able to find your home here at Alpha Phi. We are all so excited for you to have chosen to go through primary recruitment, and though the process can seem overwhelming, our one main piece of advice is to trust and enjoy the process.
With love,
Tessa Mauro and Izzie Caruso
